Taking over the Ashton Gate Stadium from the 9th - 10th July, the Bristol Tattoo Convention is back in business for 2022.

Featuring 250 artists from all around the world and over 30 stands trading everything from tooth gems to taxidermy, there’ll be plenty to see at the 6th edition of the Bristol Tattoo Convention.

You’ll find some of our sponsored artists in attendance – keep an eye out for Hettie Baker’s softly sketched floral and nature work, visit Fredy Ricca for a look at traditional designs in both colour and black and grey, or find Ange Pele for colourful neo-traditional and pop culture pieces!

If realism and portraits are more your taste, you can seek out Damian Gorski, whose abstract realism pieces weave portrait and environment together, or Matthew James, creator of dynamic black and grey realism mixed with elements of the surreal.

As is tradition, the Thekla in Bristol will host the launch party with live bands and pop punk hits on Friday 8th July, before the convention opens to advance ticket holders at 11am the next day.

Convention entertainment comes in the form of live music in the bar from The Old Time Sailors, plus the epic Demon Drome “Wall of Death” – a stunt motorbike show with riders performing death-defying feats on vintage motorcycles.

Grab your tickets now for £15 in advance or pay £20 on the door, and under 16s can come free with a paying adult. They’ve even set up a free bus service which runs to the Stadium from Temple Meads Station and Bristol city centre, so you can enjoy a cider or two!
