Returning for its 8th edition, the Tatcon Blackpool convention will be hosting over 180 artists from around the world this 13th-14th August.

Held at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, right on the promenade of Blackpool’s waterfront, you’ll find plenty to do at Tatcon. As well as perusing the incredible work on display, you can keep yourself entertained with a huge variety of performances, from stiltwalkers to Punch and Judy, and burlesque to magic.

Plenty of awards will be on offer for tattoo artists over the weekend, with categories including ‘Best of’ for Saturday and Sunday, ‘Best of Show’, ‘Best Female Composition’ and even public-nominated prizes. Last year our sponsored artist Kyle ’Egg‘ Williams claimed 1st place in ‘Best Large Black and Grey’!

If you’re heading down with cash to burn you can try for a walk-up appointment over the weekend, or spend your hard earned money at the trader stalls which sell everything from taxidermy to tarot readings.

Tickets will cost you £15 a day or £25 for the weekend, unless you grab advance tickets for £10 a day and £17.50 for the weekend. Under 18s get a discounted rate, under 12s go free with paying adults, and there’s plenty of family-friendly activities to keep the kids entertained.
